A standard WeCom account is free to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advanced features such as WeChat Pay and WeChat Customers currently cost 300 RMB (paid as a verification fee) every two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional cloud storage space, third-party apps or phone minutes can also be purchased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Is WeCom available in English?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the desktop and mobile app are available in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s more, the admin backend and help center are mostly translated. While you might <\/em>come across some areas which haven\u2019t been translated yet \u2013 WeCom is easy to use for English speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Where do WeCom store my data?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WeCom chat data, along with any WeDoc and WeDrive files are stored on Tencent\u2019s servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you access internal files using WeCom\u2019s web browser, these won\u2019t be stored on Tencent\u2019s servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security and data privacy is of course a major concern for businesses. With this in mind, organizations can use their cloud file storage so that sensitive files aren\u2019t stored by Tencent. This simply means that employees share links instead of files in WeCom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
