A trick way to fix the WeChat friend request expired.

1. Block the WeChat user who sent you the friend request.

Contacts>New friends>And then click on the expired request> Tap Block

2. Go to the blocked list.

Me>Settings>Friends’ Permissions>Blocked list>click on the friend request.

3. Add to contacts.

4. Then, wait for your friend request to pass.

WeChat is a private social media. You can’t add friends via friend recommendations like meta. You can only add friends by the given WeChat ID, phone number, QR code.
