Pause & Resume Voice Messages
Have you ever been interrupted when listening to WeChat voice message, then you must listen to the whole thing all over again?
Well, now you can pause the message and resume it whenever you want! Just tap the voice message while its playing and the voice message will pause. Then the “Resume Playing” feature will show up on the right, and you can just tap it to continue.
Search Images In Chats
How do you find that picture of spaghetti you sent your friend 3 months ago?
- First, open “Search Images In Chats” feature in:
- Settings > General > Photos, Videos, Files & Calls
- Then, when you are using “Search Chat History-Media”, click on the search box, then it will analyzes the images in the current chat.
For example, if you want to quickly find a QR code, click on QR code, all pictures related to the QR code will show up.
Set Up Your Own Ringtone
Do you want to set up exclusive ringtones for your friends, family, or colleagues?
Go to “Me” > Settings > Message notifications > Incoming Call Ringtones.
Here you can choose and set ringtones, and also set unique ringtones for your special friends!
Blur Background
No more worrying about your messy room when someone video calls you! When using the video call function, tap the “Blur Background” option, then others won’t be able to see your background!
Easy Mode
Do you know some people who have issues seeing small font on their phone?
WeChat knows you do, so they made an easy mode!
Go to “Me” > Settings > Easy Mode > Enable
With this enabled, font will be enlarged, buttons will be bigger, and colors will be sharper. There’s also a text to speech option!
